Imperfect Me

What I’m learning from my garden….

I have been busy with my garden this year. Well, I have several *gardens*. I have the front garden. That is mostly bushes and ground cover. I have a garden with two rose bushes but only one has any life to it. I have a garden under my tree. That one is under construction. I have yet to get anything to take there. I planted ground cover so we will see what happens.

Like I was saying, I have learned a lot from garden. I have learned that weeds are toxic and will grow anywhere. They grow better than any plant. They need a lot of attention. I have watched my weeds wrap around my flowers and try to suck the life out of them. It reminds me of how some people can be. :) I have learned that water is essential. Plants need water. Not a lot of it. That leads me to the saying “everything in moderation”. I have learned that growing vegetables takes time. It is so exciting to see your seedlings. It is even more exciting to see them sprout veggies. It’s kind of like raising children. They take 18 years to grow up. It takes a lot longer for them to bear fruit. We have to be patient and kind until that happens. Otherwise plants orchildren will wither away.

Here are some lovely pictures. Enjoy.

Hello Jenni…This is not meant for you but for your sister Brandi. I would guess she follows this blog. I am very sorry to hear that Brandi aka Nikki Kerns has not yet accepted that the consequences of our decisions are our responsiblity and not others. If CPS was notified you can be assured it was not me, was not Jen, was not anyone in your family Nikki. Your choices to not make sure your children attended school and were cared for properly ( clean and fed) is why CPS knocked at your door. Your devotion to the he/she has caused your family to move away from you and to turn away…again your choice to be in that relationship. If you cared for your girls they would be your priority and not a man in a dress. The way your responding to Jenni is out of line Nikki. She provided food for your children and did whatever she could to be there for your kids. Kris did not allow your he/she around his little ones but he was willing to let you in their home so the girls had some help. Your sister did not call CPS and I did not. I expect any day to hear that something terrible has happened to those little girls because you their mother dragged them all the way to Arizona because of the he/she . Your decisions are your responsibility but it really breaks my heart to know my grandaughters are suffering because of your choices.

Jen as you have learned from your garden all things living need nuturing ( for plants:sun, shade and water in proportion to that plants needs).

You need nuturing as well…you cannot change what is. What is must change. Think about it.
